We have updated GTKCP to ‘Ubuntu – working together with families and children with developmental disabilities’. The manual includes information for caregivers of children with a range of developmental disabilities, including down syndrome, congenital zika syndrome, microcephaly, and cerebral palsy.

There are a huge number of people to thank for helping to develop this guide to facilitating caregiver support groups. This is the second version of this manual, and we would also like to acknowledge all of the work that went into producing the original content, which has been adapted and updated for version two. Updated information includes addressing developmental disabilities, identifying support in families and communities, epilepsy and seizures, eating and drinking, beginning to address stigma and discrimination at home and in the community, assistive products, adapted images and sharing emotions and feelings.
